    Job Details: As a Digital School Psychologist with Sunbelt, you will have the privilege of working remotely to provide crucial assessment services and support to students in Delaware. By leveraging virtual platforms and technologies, you will connect with students, parents, and educators to facilitate the creation and implementation of effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your expertise in assessments and understanding of student needs will play a vital role in promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
    • Utilize your expertise to interpret assessment results and identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas requiring support.
    • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to develop personalized interventions and support strategies.
    • Assist in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
    • Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students, addressing behavioral concerns, social skills, and academic challenges.
    • Consult with teachers and parents to address student needs and provide actionable strategies to foster positive academic and behavioral outcomes.
    • Continuously monitor and track student progress, making adjustments to interventions as necessary.
    • Support teachers in implementing evidence-based strategies tailored to the unique needs of students with special requirements.
    • Stay informed about federal and state laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of school psychology to ensure compliance and deliver the highest quality services.

    Requirements:

    • Possess a Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
    • Hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Delaware.
    • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting.
    • Demonstrate expertise in conducting assessments and interpreting assessment results accurately.
    • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of special education laws, regulations, and the development of IEPs.
    • Proficiency in utilizing technology platforms and tools for virtual assessments and interventions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
    • Possess empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
    • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
