    SUMMARY

    This position establishes marketing strategies (including product direction, packaging, pricing, profitability, and future product development) to manage a product or product category's life cycle. This role interacts with product development, sustaining engineering, commercial marketing, quality and regulatory, suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications, and represents the voice of customer to the PTS organization.

    The Global Product Manager is the core marketing owner and driver of the success for the PTS product lines. The position shall maintain global product expertise for PTS products including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning. In addition to this role provides on-going field support and focuses on growing the market awareness for our products and related disease states, including launching new products.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops and maintains the Marketing Requirements Document(s) (MRD) for the Product Developments Process (PDP), as well as any additional documentation that may be required from PDP.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of product roadmaps based on product strategy.
    • Collaborates with Sales Management to drive forecasting and pricing.
    • Manages domestic and international product labeling requirements for professional and/or home use product lines.
    • Leads Sales and Operations (S&OP) team regarding product line inventory.
    • Creates and implements product strategies for positioning and placement of the product line in the appropriate market segments.
    • Represents voice of customer on projects with cross-functional teams.
    • Leads competitive market updates.
    • Trains technical support, customer service, and sales teams on new products and product updates.
    • Provides support and content for the Post Market Surveillance reviews
    • Works with operations and other departments on production or product design control requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Working knowledge of product integration to 3rd party systems such as EMRs.
    • FDA Regulatory Labeling – Possesses detailed knowledge of graphic workflow for both labeling and regulatory approval processes.
    • Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a plus.
    • Collects and analyzes information, problem-solves and makes decisions in a timely manner.
    • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; well-spoken and persuasive; able to converse with customers ranging from physicians to distributors.
    • Manages multiple projects and timelines and delivers results both on time and on budget.
    • Microsoft -- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in IVD or medical device product management.
    • Experience developing and launching "best in class" products in a regulated industry is a plus.
