- Maintain an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments, ensuring proper reference dates and timely submission.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to optimize reimbursement by capturing relevant clinical information.
- Communicate case-mix data essential for billing to the Business Office.
- Act as a resource for MDS/RUGs and state case-mix systems, providing education and training on MDS processes.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
- Minimum of one year of long-term care clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS completion, and/or case management is preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
