Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst - Philadelphia, United States - Hill International, Inc
Description
Heavily involved in the preparation of the monthly Business Unit reporting. Including monthly Income Statements, Revenue reporting, Gross Margin Reporting and G&A expense reporting.- Heavily involved in the preparation and distribution of the monthly Business Unit forecast reporting Excel templates.
- Assist in the review of the monthly Excel backlog report with Business Unit Controllers.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets and supporting schedules as needed for all Business Units. This includes a bottoms up budgeting approach.
- Work with large sets of data using Excel modeling to analyze key metrics of the business.
- Provides other financial support and ad hoc financial analyses to the finance organization and other key stakeholders within the company.
- Monitor work processes for continuous improvement and efficiencies.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
- Experience in the construction industry or manufacturing industry a plus.
- BA/BS in Finance or Business Administration (or related field) required.
- Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- OneStream or Hyperion reporting experience a plus.
- Deltek Vantagepoint system experience a plus.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
