System Engineer (CDN Operations) , motivated and open-minded professional who will join our journey to personal and company growth
Your Responsibilities
Operate global CDN
Automate the deployment of new CDN nodes and sites
Improve monitoring and incident response
Finding bottlenecks in terms of system and network performance
Plan capacity and improve resource efficiency
Participate in on-call rotation
We expect you to have
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux
Understanding of how internet works on a network level
You are familiar with DNS, HTTP, TLS
You can write bash and Python scripts and you like to automate routine tasks
Nice to Have
Experience with Puppet, Ansible, ClickHouse, Prometheus, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL
SRE basics
CDN experience
Experience with a web server / reverse proxy system (NGINX, Envoy, Varnish)
You have configured BGP previously and you know what is ASN and Anycast
