    Job DescriptionSalary: $25-$28.85 Hourly DOE

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing tools, machines, and equipment used to support Bodypoint. The position supports the manufacturing processes by ensuring tools, equipment, and the facilities are all in proper working condition and by ensuring an environment where employees can safely perform their job duties. Duties include preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, building maintenance, and tracking of maintenance work, equipment, and parts.

    The ideal Candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

    • Performs Preventative Maintenance on machines and equipment.
    • Diagnose and repair tools, machines and equipment used to support company.
    • Maintains and repairs facilities, office equipment, and warehouse area.
    • Supports Production, Engineering, ME, and QA with projects requiring mechanical assistance.
    • Maintains and tracks spare parts, tools, and equipment life span and cost.
    • Maintains and tracks completed preventative maintenance and repair work completed in QA software program.
    • Maintains replacement part inventory and purchases tools, spare parts, and supplies.
    • Track and log the purchase of tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
    • Completes set-up and changeover on equipment for production.
    • Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment to perform job duties.
    • Ability to operate a variety of shop equipment including but not limited to: drill press, belt sander, table saw, bandsaw, and router.
    • Ability to assess and determine solutions for equipment failure.
    • Ability to assist in optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Provide safety training, guidance, and support to Manufacturing Team.
    • Assists manufacturing in producing product when required.
    • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

    Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities:

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Required Education or Experience:

    3 years of mechanical maintenance experience or a combination of relevant education and experience

    Preferred Requirements:

    Maintenance or Mechanical Certification

    Physical Activities and Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pulling / pushing, kneeling, twisting, grasping, and walking.
    • Moderate moving, transporting and positioning of items weighing up to 50 lbs

    Environmental Conditions:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around running machines and equipment. The employee is exposed to minimal noise levels in the work environment. The employee may be infrequently exposed to hazardous and non-caustic chemicals or solutions. Bodypoint provides appropriate PPE for working conditions and environment.
