    Position Overview:

    Join us as a Cosmetic Sales team member, also known as a Beauty Advisor, where you'll play a key role in catering to our customers' beauty needs and driving sales. Serving as both a product expert and a beauty enthusiast, you excel in enhancing our customers' beauty and confidence. Your focus includes building a loyal customer base, nurturing strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. You embrace innovation by embracing new sales strategies and feel comfortable engaging with customers virtually and over the phone. Your responsibilities range from conducting customer consultations to applying makeup and beauty products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly manner
    • Utilize your product knowledge to provide tailored advice based on customer preferences
    • Introduce customers to beauty products and identify their unmet needs
    • Demonstrate product usage by applying makeup on customers
    • Maintain stock presentation, organization, and replenishment
    • Utilize our client program to foster customer relationships, meet sales targets, promote offers, and engage customers in loyalty programs
    • Participate in sales events to boost sales and achieve personal targets
    • Stay informed about Macy's beauty products and industry trends
    • Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling skills
    • Handle new stock, process damages, and manage vendor returns
    • Use POS technology for selling and order fulfillment
    • Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and asset protection protocols

    Qualifications:

    • Committed to upholding Macy's values of diversity, inclusion, and respect
    • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, with punctual attendance
    • Effective communication skills with diverse customer groups
    • Adaptable to evolving customer needs and expectations
    • Resourceful and skilled at managing changing priorities and deadlines
    • Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience
    • Previous experience in cosmetic or fragrance sales is advantageous

    Physical Requirements:

    • Extended periods of standing/walking
    • Regular use of electronic devices and cash registers
    • Physical movements like reaching, kneeling, and lifting items up to 25 lbs.
