Downeast Cider:

Downeast Cider is the #1 hard cider brand in New England. Our first batches of unfiltered cider were fermented in the dorms of Bates College, Maine. We're now a team of 231, with new roles opening across all departments.


We produce, package, and ship our products at the cider house in East Boston, which is also the location of our office, taproom, and seasonal outdoor bar.


Marketing Co-op
The Downeast Marketing Co-op will support the essential functions of the marketing team.

This experience will allow a student the opportunity to focus on Brand Marketing tasks, while also getting involved with Trade and Field Marketing.


Who you are:


  • Currently a student in one of the following (or similar) areas of study: Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Have a car and be 21+ to be able to effectively meet the responsibilities of the role
  • Boston based this job will be approximately 3 days a week in the East Boston Cider House

What you'll do:


Brand Marketing:


  • Gain exposure to packaging development projects and process
  • Report on marketing analytics for consumer engagement and market share
  • Procure products necessary for liquid development and digital marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and maintain marketing budget allocationsActively contribute to innovation meetings

Trade/Field Marketing:


  • Support with package requests for cider samples and point of sale items
  • Assist with presampling events functions
- such as account confirmation, product pick up, and administrative tasks

  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing Associate and Field Marketing Managers on a weekly cadence

Compensation:
$25/hr
