Job Summary:

Join our forward-thinking team as an Infrastructure Security Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and resilience of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, install, configure, and manage the security of our infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Harden servers and systems in accordance with industry best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, NIST).

Provide comprehensive support, including incident management, problem-solving, patch management, and change management.

Proactively monitor infrastructure to surpass performance targets and security standards.

Lead projects for system installations, migrations, and upgrades, prioritizing efficiency and minimal downtime.

Collaborate on the strategic planning of the infrastructure, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.

Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure service quality and compliance.

Champion continuous learning and adaptability within the team to stay ahead of emerging security threats and technologies.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in server and systems infrastructure management, with a strong focus on security.

Certifications in cybersecurity such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or relevant vendor-specific certifications.

Demonstrated expertise in virtualization technologies and hyper-converged infrastructure.

Proficiency in managing server environments, particularly Windows and Linux, with experience in cloud computing and containerization highly desirable.

Experience with Microsoft Security, Purview suite, and familiarity with security monitoring tools.

Excellent crisis management skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Strong ethical standards and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Effective communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in diverse and inclusive teams.

Availability for after-hours support as necessary.
