    The Job/What You'll Do:

    Voyant is a top provider of collaborative financial planning and wealth management software for financial professionals and their clients. The company's product suite enables advisors to spend less time building plans and more time growing their business.     We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our growing team. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborative Development: Work closely with a cross-functional team of software engineers, designers, and product managers to contribute to the development of software applications
    • Coding and Testing: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews. Assist in writing and executing test cases to ensure software quality
    • Problem Solving: Analyze and solve complex problems, providing innovative solutions to technical challenges
    • Learning and Growth: Actively engage in learning opportunities, both independently and through mentorship, to enhance your technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends
    • Documentation: Document code and project work to ensure knowledge transfer and contribute to the creation of technical documentation

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
    • Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies

    Education & Experience:

    • Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in computer science or a related field.
    • Must be at least an academic junior or senior
