Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials
  • Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
  • Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth guest service
  • Handle guest concerns or special requests in a professional manner

Skills:


  • Excellent phone etiquette skills
  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
  • Proficiency with Aloha POS or similar Point of Sale systems is a plus
  • Strong hospitality and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of guest relations best practices
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems
