- Two years experience performing office, administrative, and clerical duties
- High school diploma or GED
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications
- Experience communicating with the public, government employees, and/or other law enforcement agencies verbally and in writing
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Receive and provide confidential information and materials to appropriate personnel
- Provide reception services telephonically and in person by promptly prioritizing multiple simultaneous requests and accurately providing the appropriate information, documents, and media to a variety of customers, including citizens, other County departments, law enforcement agencies, and defense attorneys
- Promptly and professionally answer multiline telephone, transfer calls, record messages, thoroughly research, and accurately respond to inquiries
- Greet incoming visitors and notify the designated recipient in a timely manner
- Utilize internal and external databases to access and retrieve case information and other information
- Maintain knowledge of current cases and office issues to better respond to public inquiries
- Attend regular office press conferences
- Deliver administrative and clerical support to other Divisions as needed and complete special projects as required
- Work independently with mínimal direct oversight from the Supervisor
- Create, update, and maintain documents and reports as requested
- Sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Expedite the delivery of incoming postal mail, motions, and items delivered to our office from a variety of sources that may be timesensitive
- Type, photocopy, scan, and fax miscellaneous documents
- Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona Driver's License at the time of hire
- May be required to obtain a Notary Commission
- Drug testing is conducted once an offer has been extended and prior to placement
- Mostly office setting in high volume, fastpaced environment
- Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities
- Ability to travel to and from various county locations for meetings and training, utilizing personal or county vehicles
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
