Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule freight movements efficiently
- Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to track and monitor shipments
- Communicate with drivers and provide necessary instructions for timely deliveries
- Analyze data to optimize routes and improve operational efficiency
- Utilize phone systems to communicate with internal teams and external partners
- Collaborate with Fleet Management to ensure proper maintenance of vehicles
- Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management or similar software is a plus
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics, dispatching, or related field
- Knowledge of SyteLine or similar software for order processing
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance logistics operations
- Strong understanding of 3PL (thirdparty logistics) processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
