The Position:

The Billing Specialist serves in a capacity to invoice all clients in a timely and accurate manner. This position should be detail-oriented, ability to follow direction, have strong computer skills and excellent organizational skills. This position is expected to complete tasks with deadlines in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail and be responsive to all client requests. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

To routinely follow up with our clients on outstanding invoices and answer any questions they may have about the invoice.
Be coachable, able to follow directions and adapt to change.
Maintain daily records with accuracy and high attention to detail in an organized manner.
Be familiar with or learn NetSuite accounting system and understand the billing process start to finish.
Respond to client's questions/comments in a timely manner.
Serves as an expert and go -to person for all coding and billing processes.

Skills and Abilities:

Minimum 3 years medical/healthcare billing and collections experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Team player and deadline oriented
A keen eye for detail
An ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
