Description
The
Maintenance/Groundskeeper assists the Chief Engineer with the upkeep of all hotel fixtures, materials, and mechanical devices. They perform regularly scheduled upkeep to the outside property as well as ad hoc projects and repairs. The Maintenance/Groundskeeper works in teams or alone to complete all assigned work directives and projects.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all outside property with weeding, power washing, etc.
  • Comply with all company safety standards and procedures as they are described by the Safety and Compliance Manager.
  • Perform ad hoc projects and repairs as directed by the Chief Engineer.
  • Periodically check the hotel's fixtures, materials, and furniture to ensure that all surfaces are presentable and attractive, and to address any issues that may be discovered.
  • Maintain all maintenance workshops and storage areas in a clean, tidy, and organized manner.
  • Maintain proper radio conduct and etiquette at all times.
  • Painting and touch up.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay:
$18.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Experience:


  • Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
  • Groundskeeping: 3 years (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Stone Harbor, NJ 08247: Relocate before starting work (required)
