The Alterna S+A (Structuring + Agency) is an independent consulting firm specializing in alternative investments.

From strategic conception and structuring of individual asset investments and/or investment platforms ("Structuring"), to implementation and ongoing operations ("Agency"), Alterna supports institutional investors throughout the entire life cycle of their alternative investments, with a focus on illiquid investment strategies such as infrastructure and private equity.


Responsibilities:


A core area of Alterna S+A's services is the integration and management of asset investments (both individual and portfolios) into the processes and systems of our clients.

This includes creating reporting and IFRS consolidation packages according to the client's specifications.

The main tasks of this position include:

  • Taking responsibility for the IFRS consolidation packages
  • Assisting in the practical creation of monthly IFRS consolidation packages for multiple alternative investment portfolios
  • Coordinating the IFRS packages with the client's representatives
  • Finding solutions for practical issues related to the treatment of special topics under IFRS, such as reclassification of assets
  • Developing processes and methods for creating IFRS financial statements and incorporating new client requirements and portfolios.

Profile:

  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 9 and 1
  • Successfully completed financial studies with a focus on accounting/finance, or equivalent
  • Relevant work experience (at least 5 years) related to IFRS consolidation
  • Independent work style and proactive communication
