Job summary
This role focuses on compassionate, ethical and informed client support with an emphasis on educating beneficiaries including Veterans. The Medicare Agent will assist individuals in understanding comparing and enrolling in appropriate Medicare plans based on specific healthcare requirements and financial goals.- Responsibilities include responding to client inquiries educating clients on available Medicare options staying updated on Medicare regulations and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
- The role requires knowledge of Medicare plans and benefits including supplemental advantage plans excellent communication active listening interpersonal skills for client interaction proficiency in customer service sales strategies and client relationship management problem-solving critical-thinking abilities to provide tailored medicare solutions ability to work independently in a remote environment managing schedules and client communications effectively successful completion of state licensing requirements for health insurance agents or willingness to obtain the necessary licensing familiarity with regulations compliance practices within the medicare industry experience working with veterans or understanding of veteran healthcare benefits is beneficial
