- Senior Universal Banker will frequently travel to different branches to assist branch staff as needed
- Specializes in our branch client experience through sales, service and digital engagement of our Consumer and Commercial clients
- Engage and educate clients in a variety of ways to bank with us and provide solutions to meet their identified needs, encouraging and supporting the use of digital capabilities in client interactions
- Actively engage in lobby management, meeting and greeting clients and proactively inquiring and taking ownership to solve their banking needs
- Proactively reach out to customers to contribute to the retention and expansion of all Consumer and Business Banking relationships

The Senior Universal Banker provides superior client service while offering digital engagement and financial advice through selling South Shore Bank products and services to new and existing clients. The Senior Universal Banker is fully trained on both the teller and platform side of the banking center. This role will float between branches depending upon the needs of the Bank. This role will contribute to the growth of the business and will be responsible for meeting and exceeding specific individual and team-based business goals. This is an in-person role.

Maintains satisfactory NMLS registration under the regulations of the SAFE Act.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with electronic delivery channels including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking/Mobile Deposit, eStatements, Bill Pay, etc. is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
