- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems maintenance.
- Develop a working relationship with service providers, including but not limited to, HVAC, Fire & Safety, Pest Control, etc.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
- Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment
- Insure the cleaning and preparation of the worship space, lobby and restrooms for Sunday gatherings
- Submit progress reports and proposals to the supervisor every two weeks.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and maintenance tasks.
- Regular mowing, trimming and cleanup of the grounds including playgrounds.
- Maintain the lawn care equipment and storage sheds.
- Care for the maintenance and registration of the daycare vehicles.
- Provide constant appraisal of building and grounds with recommendations to the daycare director, Director of Operations and the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma and combination of tech school or related job experience of at least 2 years
- Able to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment such as, but not limited to, hand tools, power tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, etc.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be a team player and willing to embrace the goals of the organization.
- Must be flexible reflecting a willingness to accommodate as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
