Be a Director of ABA Operations Support with NeurAbilities, joining an interdisciplinary team of medical and behavioral experts as we transform the lives of individuals with a diagnosis of autism and other neurological concerns.


What to expect:


The Director of ABA Operations Support is responsible for operational training delivery and efficiency across the Behavior division, as well as direct oversight of all authorization and insurance related processes.

This position will also support the operational team, including Practice Managers and Client Support Specialists, through training, mentorship, and professional development.

In partnership with the Sr.

Director of ABA Operations, this role provides support to ensure that each clinic has the best possible outcomes, follows best practices, and achieves the mission of NeurAbilities.

What you will do:

Operations Training Delivery

  • Leading implementation of ABA operations competency framework, partnering with the VP of People Operations and Sr. Director of ABA Operations as needed.
  • Delivering a new operations hire training plan to ensure effective and efficient onboarding of new operations staff.
  • Identifying gaps in knowledge and competencies for operational teammates and providing training in areas of focus for said teammates.
  • Supporting the review and training of new processes across the clinical function in partnership with Sr. Director of ABA Operations and General Manager, ABA Services.
Authorization and Billing Oversight

  • Leading team of centralized Client Support Specialists in efficiently managing payer requirements and authorizations to ensure billing of services.
  • Leading the review, approval, and implementation of new payerrelated processes and tools across the behavior division, in partnership with Sr. Director of ABA Operational Support, Director of Revenue Cycle Management, and General Manager, ABA Services.
  • Monitoring the operational efficacy of authorization and billing processes and implementing corrective measures, where applicable.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, education, psychology, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience managing multisite provision of medical or experience attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining operational leaders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for building positive culture and systems. Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies.
  • Knowledge of IBHS and managed care organization regulations and requirements.
  • Knowledge of payerspecific requirements and processes for authorizations and billing.
  • Ability to drive and lead practices while adhering to requirements of the state and managed care organizations.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and maintain healthy, productive working relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data and summarize progress across multiple clinics.
  • Strong timemanagement skills along with flexibility and the ability to prioritize.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:


  • Estimated 60% travel, dependent on need.
  • Travel is typically local during the business day between the hours of 7am and 7pm, depending upon the assigned caseload, but can also extend overnight based on the destination and needs of the business.
  • This job operates in a clinic, home, or school environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer/tablet and phone.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving verbal communication and physical activity, which may include prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
