Duties & Responsibilities

  • Examine outpatient provider schedules and work with them to ensure completion of the appropriate forms for eligible patients for database registry.
  • Conduct data entry into the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Database.
  • Implement enhancements to the database per guidance from the PI.
  • Search and extract data for clinical studies.
  • Provide data and reports to researchers, administrators, and others as requested.
  • Coordinate and schedule multiinstitutional conference meetings.
  • Disseminate communication at routine intervals for conferences, communicating effectively with a wide range of health care providers.
  • Answer inquiries regarding the conference.
  • Ensure continuing medical education compliance of the conference.
  • Assist in the development and submission of internal evaluation reports.
  • Assist in submitting grants for the conference.
  • Maintain website for the conference.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Skills in Microsoft Applications.
  • Ability to successfully communicate with a wide array of individuals.
  • Skill in public speaking and presenting information to large groups.
  • Skill with data entry and validation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience.
  • Three (3) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience, is required.
