    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide support to the Tax Department with a focus on our Partners and employees living and working outside of the US.
    • Assist with global tax planning as related to employer and employee tax planning and efficiency:
    • Coordinate with outside advisors to understand relevant advice.
    • Ensure smooth implementation when required.
    • Acquire understanding of international and cross-border tax matters.
    • Ensure positions and planning are line with our Global Framework.
    • Work closely with internal HR, Finance and Legal teams to understand and quantify the tax impact to firm Partners and their teams of International and Cross-border matters.
    • Develop and maintain efficient planning and solutions with proper documentation in line with management practices within the Partner Tax Services team.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Cross-Border or Global Mobility Services Experience required.
    • High Net Worth experience preferred.
    • Intense desire to learn & understand complex international tax technical topics.
    • Strong ability & experience working with various tax research tools (such as, ThomsonReuters Checkpoint, Treatises, and other Search engines)
    • Strong personal view toward delivering excellence & consistent value in the world.
    • Commitment to managing various time zones with the understanding of needing to be available during irregular times of day.
    • Strong organizational skills & ability to work effectively and independently.
    • Strong ability to handle highly confidential & sensitive information with professionalism.
    • Self-directed and proactive work ethic, with an emphasis on taking ownership of tasks.
    • Strong ability to apply knowledge to new fact patterns & develop innovative & efficient solutions.
    • Respectful & enthusiastic team attitude
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Strong professional & academic achievement

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance required
    • 4-6 years of relevant individual international tax experience (Big 4 public accounting preferred)
