Description
Rainbow Springs is looking for a part-time educator (tuition-free) to work with children and adolescents. As an educator, you will be involved in early childhood education, residential care, and out-of-school child and youth work.A key aspect of the role is observing and analyzing the behavior and well-being of the children, using pedagogical principles.
You will also encourage physical and mental development through creative activities and play.Other responsibilities include documenting actions and their results, conducting conversations, and providing support and advice for academic tasks and personal issues.
You will also reflect on your work as part of a team, collaborate with other social and potentially medical professionals, and maintain close communication with parents.
Training duration: 4 years (part-time)Training content:
- Building relationships and accompanying group processes
- Analyzing and shaping the living environment of children and adolescents
- Supporting children, adolescents, and young adults in coping with challenging life situations
- Involving parents and families in social pedagogical work
- Developing pedagogical concepts
Requirements:
- Good secondary school diploma
- Completed vocational training in the social field
- Completed vocational training with at least 2 years of work experience
- Completed vocational training with at least 1 year of social work experience
- At least 7 years of experience in an educational or caregiving role
- Successful completion of a technical college in the field of health and social sciences
