- *Location:* Pine House in Shenandoah, Ia
- *Working Hours:* Wed-Fri 10pm-8am, Every Other Saturday 10pm-8am
- Provide training in daily living skills and activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, laundry, and personal hygiene.
- Coordinate health and medical needs, advocating for individuals' rights and choices.
- Assist in accessing community services and managing personal finances.
- Offer emergency/safety skills training and transportation support.
- Develop individualized plans and ensure the well-being and safety of each individual.
- Supervise and train new staff, adhering to agency policies and regulatory procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and health standards in the individuals' residence.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Preferably hold a high school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in teaching daily living skills preferred.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
- Valid Iowa Chauffeur's license and acceptable driving record.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
- Willingness to work with individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Ability to travel up to 70 miles between locations.
- Perform household tasks and necessary care up to 50 pounds.
- Assist individuals in mobility and personal care tasks.
- Conduct routine housekeeping duties and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Carry out snow removal and other safety-related activities.
