Our new Business Operations Manager will partner with the owner to ensure projects, and the overall business, are running on time and profitable.
Through daily interaction with our in-house project managers, you will have the authority to interact and guide the business as needed for continued growth.
Our new Business Operations Manager will:
- Oversee the office team including guidance on workflows and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare financial outlooks in collaboration with the owner. Proactively provide feedback on financial analysis.
- Track projects for committed income & cost expectations. Interface as needed with internal and external teams.
- Monitor accounts receivable for client payments due and proactively follow up.
- Prepare and manage project related documents to ensure compliance.
- Work with project managers to distill project plans into estimates and change orders.
- Manage all business and employee benefit insurance products with outside advisor.
- Track subcontractor and trade information to ensure all coverage and paperwork is complete.
- Participate in scheduled weekly and ad hoc project status meetings and problemsolving discussions offering recommendations and ideas.
- Assist owner and other personnel in interacting with clients and other stakeholders on requests and issues. Field comments on client and subcontractor contracts.
- Assist owner with personnel management in areas such as hiring, motivation, performance management and general topics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business major or related field of study. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. Experience in the field will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience in business management in construction or a related industry.
Pay:
$85, $100,000.00 per year
