Supervisor, Electric Field Operations - Bedford, United States - EVERSOURCE
Description
Provides leadership to ensure the completion of work efforts related to the electric distribution and transmission systems in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Coordinates activities among individuals and departments in the district/division, promoting a safety-first environment and motivating employees for excellent customer experience delivery.
Essential Functions:- Accountable for ensuring field activities are carried out safely. Sets safety expectations, resolves issues promptly, and promotes continuous learning of safe work methods.
- Makes decisions to prioritize work and resources effectively.
- Sets clear expectations, provides ongoing feedback, and addresses performance issues. Conducts performance reviews.
- Participates in preconstruction reviews to ensure timely execution of operations, coordinating work with utilities, Eversource departments, and contractors.
- Ensures work is completed within budgetary guidelines.
- Reviews and approves time, expense, and other company records accurately and promptly.
- Demonstrates a customer-first attitude, resolving customer issues promptly.
- Fulfills storm duty assignments and participates in on-call rotation as needed.
- Working knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of five years of experience required, preferably in electric distribution. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid Motor Vehicle License required. D.O.T. Driver's License preferred.
- Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program with a salary range of $119,480.00 to $132,750.00, plus incentive. Salary commensurate with experience.
- Available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
- Work conducted in various conditions, including adverse weather. Office work involves sitting, walking, standing, and computer use.
- Shift work including weekends. On-call responsibility on a rotational basis.
- May require long hours in response to outage situations.
