As a Salon Receptionist, your main responsibilities would include the following:

  • Greeting and checking in/checking out clients
  • Learning and maintaining an expert level of knowledge about sugaring services, memberships, and all available products.
  • Performing side tasks such as maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby and treatment rooms, restocking products and disposables, and rescheduling clients as needed
  • Answering client questions regarding the sugaring process, memberships, services offered, and aftercare.
  • Attending monthly employee education and development meetings
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with coworkers and clients
  • Learning and becoming proficient in Square, our appointment booking and processing system.
  • Social media management involves creating and publishing posts on various social media platforms.

Role scope and complexity:

The Salon Receptionist reports directly to the Studio Manager and is accountable for all aspects of front desk operations. The Salon Receptionist is accountable for meeting established customer service standards for internal and external customers.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Able to demonstrate problemsolving skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members
  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail oriented
  • You should have a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Experience in salon/beauty environments or retail sales is a plus
  • Must pass a background check.
