Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, part of Lahey Health, is seeking a full-time, Academic Gynecologic Surgeon to join its Division of Gynecology as Vice Chair of Academics and Research.
This is a growth position within our expanding division and the surgeon will see patients at our Burlington office while enjoying the opportunity to operate at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, as well as our Beth Israel Lahey Health affiliates.
We are looking for a physician leader and educator with a history of research and academic endeavors.The ideal candidate will be an individual with a clear commitment to teaching at the medical student, resident, or fellow level and a history of research success.
They will work closely with the Chair to enhance and support the academic mission of the Division.Required Experience:
The Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) integrated delivery system consists of over 4,800 physicians, including 840 primary care physicians managing 1.3 million patients, providing care throughout our network of acute care hospitals, ambulatory centers, physician practice sites, behavioral health facilities, long-term care facilities, home health organizations and care management programs.
BILH employs 36,000 individuals making it the second largest employer in the state and consists of over 200 care locations including 13 hospitals with over 2400 beds and 5 ambulatory surgery centers.
