- Developing and maintaining automated processes and SQL procedures
- Working with actuaries to identify and resolve production errors as well as perform ad-hoc analysis
- Using SQL and other programming languages to navigate, perform calculations, analyze and manipulate data
- Creating batch jobs to extract data from various sources, transform, and load data to various destinations
- Developing ad hoc and quarterly excel spreadsheets using advanced functions and VBA macros
- Producing processes, data analytics and reports to support business decisions

- A bachelor's degree in information systems, business analytics, or similar field
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of relational database systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new concepts
- Drive to improve existing processes and build new ones
- Experience with a source control system, such as Git
- Experience with Visual Studio, IBM DataStage or similar ETL tool

- Two to three years of experience in similar role
