- Independently performs a wide range of highly technical and complex research and laboratory tests and procedures.
- Devises highly specialized research procedures by applying a knowledge of advanced research techniques and equipment.

- Independently performs a wide range of highly technical and complex research and laboratory proceduresincluding multiparameter flow cytometry, isolation of B lymphocytes for cell culture, molecular assays such as Q-PCR and DNA sequencing and partitioning of single cells for molecular analysis.
- Training will be provided for unfamiliar techniques and after appropriate training these will be performed independently with scientific rigor.
- Ensure the documentation, stability, and reliability of valuable stored human biospecimens.
- Because these are patient centered studies, occasional irregular hours including limited late, or weekend hours may be required.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and four years of research experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
