Job Title:
Outreach Marketing Specialist

PRIMARY FUNCTION/


PURPOSE:

As a key member of the Care Management team, OMS's provide a wide range of indirect services to increase program visibility in the community and develop the referral base resulting in program growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be familiar with the Argus/ACCESS Manual. Be familiar with Health Home guidelines.
  • Uphold Argus & BOOM's Community's Policies and Procedures according to the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Be on time and attend all required meetings including, biweekly supervision, biweekly staff meetings and trainings as scheduled
  • Able to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Participate in the development, creation and launch of new concepts
  • Develop and maintain marketing strategies, lead the execution of online and offline market initiatives, and provide feedback.
  • Establish effective relationships with community resources to ensure the program will be used as a referral source
  • Conduct field visits i.e. Hospital and other social service agencies to solidify business agreements.
  • Document all efforts weekly in a spreadsheet

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


To perform the job of an Outreach Marketing Specialist successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education:


  • High School Diploma/GED, College preferred
  • Knowledge:
  • Background in Marketing or other related fields
  • Familiar with agencies specializing in servicing those with chronic health conditions
  • Knowledge of chronic medical conditions, mental health, HIV and substance use.
  • Ability to travel within the boroughs of New York City via public transportation

Experience:

Minimum of one-year full-time work experience; preferably in marketing, social services and/or sales

  • Be able to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in a warm, caring manner and to motivate others.
  • Knowledge of computers word processing a must

Pay:
$40,000.00 per year
