We are currently seeking a
CERTIFIED
STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN. This is a full-time position, 14:00 - 22:30, with some flexibility, Monday through Friday.

This position cleans, packages, sterilizes, and stores the supplies, instruments, and equipment according to manufacturers' specifications and facility policy. The SPD Tech verifies that each item is in good working condition; lubricates items when needed and inspects instruments. Additionally, this position sorts and arranges items into correct trays and accurately labels each item accordingly before wrapping.

The SPD Tech correctly operates sterilizers, ultrasonic washers, and other equipment for processing items and positions items correctly in sterilizer and selects proper cycle.

This position also performs required biological monitoring tests on all sterilizers.
