The University of Music and Dance Cologne is one of the world's leading artistic training institutions and is one of the largest music universities in Europe with its three locations in Cologne, Wuppertal and Aachen.

The university is shaped by over 540 teachers, including a large number of renowned personalities from the international music scene, science, education and dance.

They supervise around 1550 students from over 60 countries. Around 140 employees in technology and administration provide a wide range of services for teaching and events.

We are currently looking for a part-time and temporary employee (m/f/d) for our university library at the Cologne campus.

Your tasks

  • Technical processing of new additions to the library, in particular laminating scores and books and creating signature labels for media, as well as corresponding labeling
  • Technical processing of the library's media inventory, in particular carrying out book repairs (broken bindings, loose pages, etc.) and (new) laminating of scores and books
Our requirements

  • Manual dexterity
  • Independent and serviceoriented way of working
  • Proficient in MS Office
If the personal and collective bargaining requirements are met, the remuneration will be based on pay group 2 TV-L.
