Description
Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is looking for a full-time Broadcast Utility Driver/Technician (BUDT) to operate BMG's vehicle fleet to transport broadcast equipment to and from specified destinations across the U.S and work as a production utility.
After training by BMG, and not operating BMG's vehicles, the BUDT will act as a production utility loading/ unloading broadcast equipment, operating master control, prompter, and other various broadcast positions.
Essential Functions:
- Operate and drive BMG trucks, vans, trailers to production locations around the country
- While on location, assist with loading and unloading of company vehicles and assist the setup of productions
- Maintaining the BMG vehicle fleet including maintenance, having the vehicles cleaned and stay up to date with tags & registrations
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip evaluations of equipment
- When not traveling, assist with the equipment organization in the Broadcast Operation Center warehouse
- When not traveling, assist the production and engineering team on various projects for quality control purposes
- Write a weekly report summarizing the activities and goals for the upcoming week, due each Friday by 5pm
