The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Admission Counselor/Evaluator, Office of Admissions [R0140975].
ROLE of the POSITION
The Admission Counselor/Evaluator, reporting to the Assistant Director of Processing, is responsible for evaluating applications for admission, managing auditing reports to help expedite admissions decisions, and troubleshooting issues related to application processing. This individual also attends recruitment events as needed.
Counseling work entails meeting with and speaking by phone to potential and current applicants explaining the admissions process, the evaluation process, standards of admission, and providing advice to constituents upon future coursework that would enable one to satisfy core requirements for entry.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1-3 Years of Experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
