A medical office in Flushing, Queens, is looking for several full-time or part-time receptionists.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with the physician to record patient medical history, symptoms, treatment plans and other medical notes
• Answering phones calls from patients or other provider offices
• Checking in/out patients
• Making and confirming appointments
• Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Obtaining authorization from insurance companies
• Maintaining medical records

Requirements:

• Currently college student or with bachelor degree
• Detail oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Motivated and professional
• Fluent in Chinese and English
• Medical knowledge/medical office working experience is a must
