    Responsibilities: As a Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in various financial activities, including:

    • Billing towards accounts and resolving inconsistencies
    • Managing accounts receivable and collections
    • Verifying and completing payment of invoices related to accounts payable
    • Coding invoices and setting up new vendor accounts
    • Reconciling bank accounts, verifying deposits, and addressing inquiries from the bank
    • Managing the purchasing and invoicing process
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures

    Project Accountant Qualifications:

    • Degree not required - they value skills and experience
    • A background in construction or engineering (preferably 5 years experience)
    • Experience with Deltek software is a definite plus

    Skills and Abilities: As a successful Project Accountant candidate, you will possess:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting (preferred)
    • Understanding and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles
    • Ability to correctly prepare tax reports
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
