- Reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Preparing basic, standard journal entries to the general and recurring entries.
- Reconciling daily activity from various sales outlets and uploading sales activity into the accounting system accordingly.
- Performing data entry functions into subsidiary systems and reports as needed.
- Creating month-end financial and statistical reports as required.
- Performing reconciliation and analysis functions as required.
- Assisting with the development and reporting for newly acquired specialized software systems.
- Assisting with the development of metrics and related reports to continue to refine and improve departmental information analysis and reporting.
- Assisting with the on-going development of departmental and company-wide training documents and systems.
- Assisting with special projects as assigned.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.?
- 2-5 years of accounting experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a club, hospitality, or real estate management/development environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel as well as accounting software applications.
- Experience with Jonas operating software a plus.
- Proven ability to understand and articulate business needs.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Thrive in a team environment with the ability to work with others of varying personalities and skill levels in a consistently positive manner that supports the efforts of the overall team.
- Thorough understanding of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
