market.Job Description
Assist with metric development and reporting.
Analyze current processes, recommend equipment and procedural improvements which lead to standard work for operations.
Analyze data and recommend solutions to decrease equipment downtime.
Support experiments that lead to our next improvement.
Work on special projects assessing process/material loss.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate student currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Graduate program for fall 2024.
Must be able to commit to a 90 - day co-op cycle: May-July and be able to work 40 hours per week for at least 90 days during summer 2024.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.Self-starter with a proactive approach.
Proven problem solving/conflict resolution skills be able to think through issues and arrive at well-thought out conclusions.
Able to impact and effect positive change with a flexible open-minded, positive approach.
Demonstrated ability to be successful in a collaborative team environment.
Competent in using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Preferred
Junior or senior level standing in an industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Graduate program.
Overall cumulative GPA for 3.0 or higher
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse or heavy industrial settings.

Technical abilities:
Ability to learn the operation of moderately complex tools, machines, and systems.
Ability to analyze and solve problems through application of learnings from graduate Engineering education and site mentorship.
