The Disability Insurance Branch (DIB) is seeking an innovative, dedicated, detail-focused leader to join the Workload Optimization Division Leadership Team as the Workforce Management Deputy Chief.

This key role involves managing, planning, and directing the Workforce Optimization and Reporting as well as Workforce Administration Sections to support DIB management and staff efficiently.

The Workforce Management Deputy Chief will oversee a team in strategic workload planning, WFM technology improvements, and various WFM practices such as service delivery, forecasting, scheduling, intraday management, governance, data analysis, and reporting for the DI Branch.

These initiatives aim to enhance support for DIB call center agents and claims processing examiners through technology implementation, workload forecasting, and comprehensive reporting to serve millions of California customers annually.

The DIB manages the State Disability Insurance program, encompassing Disability Insurance, Paid Family Leave, Non-Industrial Disability Insurance for state employees, and voluntary plans, benefiting over 18 million workers by providing financial security during challenging times.
