We are currently seeking a full-time Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) Category Management to join our team as soon as possible. Your responsibilities will include:

Taking responsibility for purchasing defined product categories in the area of production materials
Developing and implementing a strategy for the procurement of complex mechanical components
Achieving continuous cost optimization throughout the entire supply chain
Finding, developing, and managing strategically relevant suppliers for the assigned product category, as well as implementing process improvements in collaboration with suppliers
Supplier management, selection, determination, evaluation, and development
Managing supplier relationships and conducting price and contract negotiations while considering relevant KPIs
Conducting commercial and technical analysis of offers and creating offer comparisons (participation in make or buy decisions)
Creating global market forecasts, trend and procurement market analyses
Assisting with supplier assessments and monitoring measures
