Focus of your training:During your training, you will go through the following production and manufacturing areas:
- Tool and equipment construction
- Work preparation (grinding, CNC turning, CNC milling, wire and sinker erosion)
- Prototype construction
- Mold construction
- Measurement technology
- Tool maintenance
- Production (punching and plastic injection molding)
In the third year of your apprenticeship, you can choose between two specializations.
- Toolmaking:
Focus on the production, testing, maintenance, and repair of punching tools - Mechanical engineering:
Focus on the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of production machines
- Manual dexterity
- Interest in working with technically demanding machines
- An average secondary school leaving certificate
- Particular interest in mathematics and technology
- Logical and analytical thinking skills
- Teamwork, reliability, and commitment
