Training as a Ship Mechanic (m/f/d) at Turtle Lake

Ship mechanics operate, repair, and maintain the machinery and technical equipment on board a ship, as well as perform maintenance work. They also take on watch duties on the bridge or in the engine room.

The training to become a ship mechanic at TT-Line GmbH & Co. KG is modern and diverse. You will complete your training on a ship in regular service, with the unique component of handling special cargo. You will gain experience working with various types of machinery and propulsion systems. We are particularly proud of our operation of scrubber systems on some of our ships.

Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity and interest in operating machinery and engines
  • Enjoy working in a team and interacting directly with customers
  • High level of commitment and willingness to learn
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent

Training schedule:

Duration: 3 years
