- Oversee Machinists completing threading, turning, grinding and milling operations in fast paced, high volume Machine Shop
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches and drawings
- Assist with complicated set-ups involving parts up to 40,000 pounds in lathes, horizontal boring mills, vertical boring mills, etc.
- Develop and help execute thorough lift plans for all parts over 10,000 lbs.
- Communicate quoting issues back to management
- Oversees routinely scheduled monthly machine maintenance
- Assists with the development and implementation of shop safety rules to help minimize lost man time hours
- Ensures compliance with current shop safety rules and regulations
- Promote a healthy and positive work environment for all employees
- Mentor machinists to increase their knowledge and skillset
- Maintain an accurately detailed shop labor schedule to assist with labor tracking functions
- Other duties as required
- High School Diploma or GED, is preferred.
- 8-10 years industrial experience is required.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, gearboxes, piping and large-scale mechanical assemblies is required.
- Intermediate computer skills required in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday - Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.
