- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office and Human Resources
- Answer phone calls, schedule meetings, appointments, support internal departments and visitors
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization
- Maintains office and cleaning supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies and placing orders for supplies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Work with sales, operations, and quality teams to coordinate and send out samples to customers
- Document, follow up and track samples sent out
- Assist in updating policies and procedures as needed
- Assist Agronomy department in entering contracts and track contact information
- Pick up and distribute mail
- Update information in quality and accounting systems and other systems of record
- Training tracking, coordination and follow up
- Conduct File audits (personnel, training, etc..)
- Assist human resources to ensure compliance with applicable postings at each location
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Manager or hiring manager.
- Prepare for new employees (onboarding, new hire materials, computer assignment, etc...)
- Assist with company events as needed.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree preferred
- Ability to understand and practice confidentiality
- Experience in Human Resources a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with DocuSign
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Customer service focused
