- Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.
- Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required.
- Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients.
- Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager.
- Ability to travel to our other office locations as needed.
- Able to work Mon - Thurs 7:30am-5:00pm and Fri 7:30am-3:00pm
- Summer hours Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5:00pm and Fri 7:30am-1:00pm
- At least 1-2years of experience as surgical assistant preferred, willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- A high school diploma
- A certificate from an accredited surgical assistant program (if required by law)
- An active state radiology license (if required by law)

Your Responsibilities
You will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist's shoulders. You will be focused on ensuring that the patients' needs, concerns, and questions are answered. You will help keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit, being the patients go to resource during their visit which includes the following:

Position Pay Range$22—$25 USDSpecialty1 Partners is the direct employer of non-clinical employees only.
