East McKeesport is looking for a PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIST (M/F/D) for our integrated study program in Packaging Engineering (B. ENG.) starting in September 2024 in Memmingen.

If you have a recognized high school diploma from Bavaria, such as Abitur, Fachabitur, or a master's degree, you have the opportunity to become a Packmitteltechnologe /-in (Packaging Technologist) through our integrated study program in collaboration with the State Vocational School in Lindau am Bodensee and the University of Munich.

As a dual student, you will start your education in the 2nd year of the vocational school.

You will learn the contents of the 3rd year on your own and take the intermediate exam after 1.5 years.

At the beginning of the 2nd year, you will also start your university studies alongside your vocational training.

The final exam for Packmitteltechnologe will take place after the 3rd year, followed by four months of practical training and four and a half months of writing your bachelor's thesis.

Just like in the traditional training for Packmitteltechnologe, you will learn important basics of packaging design and production technologies in the company.

In addition to knowledge in the metal sector, hydraulics, and pneumatics, active participation in production is the focus. Whether in the traditional or integrated study program, Packmitteltechnologe is one of the most important professions at
