Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team. The Cable Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various types of data communication systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems including copper and fiber optic cables
- Perform cable testing, verification, and troubleshooting
- Configure network equipment such as routers and switches
- Collaborate with clients to determine their networking needs
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support to customers as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cable installation or related field
- Knowledge of computer networking and network installation
- Familiarity with low voltage systems
- Ability to work in various environments including field service settings
- Proficiency in telecommunication technologies
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation
- Understanding of electrical systems
- Certification in Cisco routers is a plus
Job Types:

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
