    Job Details:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Associate to join our growing finance team.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is looking to apply their knowledge and experience in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting financial analysis, ensuring tax compliance, and providing accounting support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Utilize tax preparation software to accurately and efficiently prepare tax returns.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify potential tax liabilities and opportunities for tax savings.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure the company is in compliance.
    • Provide accounting support, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.
    • Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profits.
    • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, answer queries, and provide expert tax advice.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline tax processes and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred or CPA eligible candidate
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, and financial analysis.
    • Proficiency in MS Suite and Quickbooks is required.
    • Experience with tax preparation software is necessary.
    • Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax returns.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
