Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay.

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Checkin and checkout guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with reservations and manage room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- Ability to use phone systems, computers, and other office equipment effectively
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problemsolving skills to address guest concerns or issues promptly
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality management or hotel operations is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Answer inquires from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
- Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
- Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions as listed in the Red Book.
- Be familiar with all inhouse groups.
- Be aware of closed out and restricted dates.
- Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the ratequoting scenario.
- Be familiar with hospitality terminology.
- Have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed.
- Handle checkins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
- Use proper twoway radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees.
- Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
- Be able to perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
- Be able to complete a bucket check, room rate verification report, and housekeeping report.
- Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
- Maintain and market promotions and guest programs.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
Pay:
$ $17.00 per hour
